English Language Learners

Here are a list of helpful resources for ELL students:

         -This website provides worksheets/handouts focused on various aspects of the English language.       Further, it provides some interesting resources that help student gauge their audience. Great tool for high school students!

2.)http://www.eslus.com/LESSONS/READING/READ.HTM
        -Interlink Language Center has a fantastic website for students learning english. It breaks down basic skills and provides online timed quizzes to help students assess where they need a bit more instruction.

3.)http://www.manythings.org
        -Many Things is a wonderful place to collect puzzles, games, quizzes, crossword puzzles etc.. for a ELL classroom. It is easy to navigate and provides a section for students to work on pronunciation, sing songs and complete many more tasks to engage in the learning process.

4.)http://www.esl-teaching.net
     -This website provides short paragraphs preparing teachers to educate out of the United States. The posts focus on Eastern Asia but provides advice for teachers heading to Europe and the Middle East as well.

      -ESL Go is a great set of role plays for teachers to use in ESL classroom, it provides a dialogue prompt and a rubric to grade each role play.
